Keysearch.co Review

Keysearch.co Review – Is It A Good Keyword Tool? (2021)

Keyword Research is one of the most important steps in writing a blog, in fact, some would argue that it is the most important part of building an SEO friendly blog.

However, doing keyword research on your own can be pretty tough especially when you are trying to rank your article on the first page as quickly as possible.

This is where having a solid keyword research tool comes into play. Having a good keyword research tool will save you a bunch of time and energy in the long run as well as help you stop opportunities you may not have previously looked for.

One of these tools is Keysearch (also called Keysearch.Co), when I first saw this tool I must say I was pleasantly surprised and immediately knew I had to do a review on it.

In this Keysearch (also called Keysearch.co) review, I will be tearing this keyword research tool down to its bare bones and revealing if it is really worth it.

So without further ado, let’s hop straight into the article!

What is Keysearch.Co?

Keysearch is a keyword research tool that was designed to make it easy for you to find relevant, low competition keywords for your website, blog, or business.

Now, Keysearch goes a bit further than just being a regular keyword research software. It also gives you all the tools you need to see exactly what your competitors are doing right so you can do it better!

Keysearch provides an easy way to find related keywords in any niche! All you have to do is type in your keyword and BOOM just like that Keysearch will give you hundreds of different keyword ideas.

The best part? There is no software to install!

There are other great tools that make this software a good bang for the buck. Some of these tools include SEO Competition Analysis, Keyword Difficulty Checker, Rank Tracking, Backlink checker and much more!

(Don’t worry we will be taking a look at each of these features later down in this article so keep reading)

Ease of Use

Is Keysearch easy to use? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt.

When I first used the tool I was surprised by how easy it was for me to navigate. The dashboard is extremely user-friendly and I quickly got a hang of the platform with little help. In no time I was finding new keyword ideas and building a warrior chest of keywords!

KeySearch Dashboard

The layout isn’t distracting and I found exactly what I was looking for pretty quickly, however, I must say the colors aren’t the most appealing but that doesn’t stop the tool from getting the job done.

All in all, I am confident that a beginner who has never used a keyword research tool before will be able to successfully operate Keysearch with no problems at all.

Keysearch.Co Best Features

Keysearch has some amazing features that make it an amazing keyword research tool. Let’s take a brief look at each of these features.

Here’s a list of Keysearch.co’s features:

  • Keyword Research Tool
  • Competitor Gap
  • Youtube Research Tools
  • Rank Tracking Tool
  • Keyword Content Assistant
  • Backlink Checker

Keyword Research Functionality

Of course, I have to start off the feature list hot with Keysearch’s pride and joy, its keyword research tool.

This is no doubt the first thing you will see when you enter the dashboard and I must say it gets the job done.

All you have to do is put in your ideal keyword and Keysearch will automatically find related and relevant keywords and show you the search volume, CPC, and PPC data. These three components will clearly highlight which keywords you can begin ranking for.

I like the fact that the level of keyword difficulty score is color-coded. For instance, red represents high difficulty to rank keywords and blue represents easy to rank keywords.

Color-coded keyword scores

You are also provided with data on the performance of your seed keyword over the last 12 months which can be a good indicator of the direction of that particular keyword. This is also a great indicator of what time of the year there is high interest surrounding that keyword.

Search Trends

There is one part of this tool that stood out to me and that was the SERP Analysis capability. This shows you the overall ranking power of the website and the web page.

This table gives you a birds-eye view of your competition which gives you perfect insight into what you need to be doing in order to start outranking them.

Another key part of the keyword research tool is the related keyword suggestions tab which displays 500 different keywords, their search volume, CPC, PPC, and keyword difficulty score.

Competitor Gap

Now I have to be completely honest with you, this tool isn’t KeySearch’s best feature but it’s still worth the mention.

How does it work?

Well simply just enter your URL and the URL of a competitor you want to outrank and boom it shows you all the keywords that they’re ranking for and you aren’t.

This can be a unique way to find new keywords for your blog or gather more content ideas.

Youtube Research Tools

If you are a serious Youtuber then this tool will benefit you the most.

Keysearch provides you with comprehensive data that helps you find keywords that you can begin ranking for on Youtube.

Youtube Keyword Research
Youtube Keyword Research

The image above shows the trend of the keyword “barbecue” on Youtube as well as some of the top competition.

You can track up to 50 keywords and see it’s overall performance on Youtube.

You are also provided with information on the top Youtube videos that are ranking for your seed keyword. This information includes basic stuff like how many views and comments the video has.

I personally have never used this Youtube tool because I don’t have a Youtube channel but from the looks of it, it seems like an extremely detailed and solid tool for beginners who would like to get their Youtube videos ranked.

Rank Tracking Tool

As the name suggests this tool allows you to track up to 200 keywords so you can monitor their performance over time based on their current rank, the search volumes, and other key information.

I also find it extremely useful that they send regular emails that update you about the overall progress of your keywords. However, keep in mind that you are sent a notification every time you update a keyword which can be super annoying especially if you are updating dozens of keywords.

This tool also provides you with relevant information on the top 50 websites that are ranking for that particular keyword.

Keyword Content Assistant

Think of this tool as your own personal assistant that helps you write high converting content that has a better chance of ranking higher on Google.

This tool helps you find different keyword variations that you can add to your article. It provides you with data such as the average length of the articles that rank on the first page of Google for that keyword as well as questions that are being asked using your keyword.

Using this tool is actually pretty simple, all you have to do is type in your seed keyword and you will be provided with a list of long-tail keywords that appear on the first page of Google.

I like that there’s a text box that you can copy & paste your article into and you will be provided with key information like word count and keyword count.

The Keyword Content Assistant is extremely useful in helping you optimize your article so that it ranks for more highly-targeted keywords on Google.

Backlink Checker

Backlinks are a critical part of your long term success in ranking for keywords on Google.

This BackLink Checker allows you to see how many backlinks your competitors have which gives you perfect insight on how the quantity and quality of backlinks you should be aiming for.

This tool provides everything you need to know about the backlinks such as the anchor, the domain strength and if it’s a do-follow or no-follow link.

Customer Support

KeySearch has a very friendly customer support team that is there to answer any questions or concerns that you may have about the platform.

They offer support via email or phone. However, there is no live chat which I found disappointing since I absolutely love having access to a  live chat!

The knowledgebase offered is definitely not as extensive as other knowledge bases I have seen, however, you are provided with answers to key questions such as “How To Cancel Your Subscription” to “How to Upgrade your plan”.

I also like that they have video tutorials that are there to assist you as you continue to learn about the tool.

Keysearch.co Review Verdict – Is It Worth It?

All in all, I have to say Keysearch is a great keyword tool for bloggers or content creators who want a cheap and easy way to begin finding new keyword ideas and content ideas.

It’s also a great place to start if you want to begin doing in-depth competitive analysis.

As a blogger, I must say that it has everything that I need in order to begin building blogs that have a high chance of ranking every time.

However, I must say that if you have been running a Youtube channel for some time then this may not be the best tool in your toolbox to use to begin ranking in the search engines.

Best KeySearch Alternatives

Keysearch isn’t the only keyword tool on the market. Here are the best Keysearch alternatives that you should consider.

UberSuggest – This is a SEO tool that allows you to find keyword suggestions, content ideas, backlink data, the top SEO pages for a specific keyword as well as a domain overview. The best part? The free version works perfectly for beginner bloggers.

Moz – This is an advanced SEO tool that allows you to do in-depth keyword research, backlink analysis, rank tracking, site audits and much more.

Google Suggestions – If you are just simply looking for new keywords and content ideas then one of the best-proven ways to find keyword ideas is by simply taking advantage of the related suggestions tab in Google. This is one of the most underrated but most effective methods to find new keywords. Plus IT’S FREE, however, I must let you know if you want to get more technical in your keyword research then this isn’t entirely effective.
