MailerLite has a ton of cool features that make it a force to be reckoned with. These features include a landing page builder, a drag and drop editor, pop-ups, email automation, A/B split testing and the list goes on. 

The best part? They have a very generous Free plan. In fact, I can go as far as saying that they have the most generous Free plan on this list.  

The Free plan allows you to send up to 12000 emails per month to a subscriber list of up 1000 subscribers. Even if you want to send unlimited emails to that 1000 subscribers the price will just increase to $10 per month.

All in all, MailerLite deserves to be number one on this list given its generous free plan as well as its comprehensive features.

My favorite feature has to be the visual automation builder which makes building automation an easy step by step process.

That being said, ConvertKit has a Free plan that allows you to manage 1000 subscribers. This Free plan also gives you access to unlimited landing pages & forms, unlimited traffic, a customizable domain, email broadcasting, and subscriber tagging.

SendPulse goes above and beyond and boasts of being able to predict the best time and channel for each subscriber so you can deliver your message at the right place at the right time. This is all in an effort to help you increase your open rate and your conversion rates. 

SendPulse has a Free plan like all the other email marketing tools mentioned on this list. However, this Free plan only allows you to send 15,000 emails to up to 250 subscribers. That being said I must say the plans are pretty affordable. 

All in all, SendPulse is for the online business owner that wants a bit more than just email marketing.

All in all, CleverReach provides a robust email marketing solution that allows you to begin sending out your emails efficiently and effectively.

Benchmark has a Free plan but it only allows you to send up to 250 emails per month which is kind of disappointing since the other email marketing tools listed allow you to do way more than that. 

With this Free plan, you get access to basic email marketing, marketing automation, lead generation, and basic reporting, and basic support. 

All in all, regardless of the fact that the Free plan doesn’t give you much space to breathe it still provides you with the necessary features you need in order to create and send compelling campaigns.  

 

What is the best free email marketing tool? 

I have to say that in my opinion, the best free email marketing tool would have to be MailerLite because of its cheap price and wide range of features. If you are a beginner then I believe MailerLite would be a great place for you to start!
